On my radar - around the web

I've been thinking about making a buche de noel this year until I saw this PieLogen.  Yes, you read that correctly, PieLogen.  This amazing sounding dessert has a layer of toffee pecan pie, eggnog cheesecake and chocolate caramel yule log.  You can find more about it here.  They also sell the PieCaken.  Sorry, you have to be in NYC to order either for your holiday celebrations.

I love the simplicity of this room.  The gold, the white, the black, and the pop of color equal perfection.  You can find more photos of this London flat here.

Stripes, plaid and white jeans equal a cozy, yet stylish winter outfit.  Find it here.

Beautiful paper birds.

This Manhattan dining room is painted a moody shade, Benjamin Moore's Narragansett Green, which often reads as blue. Curtains in Fadini Borghi's Monica and striped chairs in C & C Milano's Venezia Rigato add the vigor of orange. Artistic Frame armchairs are in Penny Morrison's Gobi, and Farrow & Ball's Tented Stripe wallpaper covers a hallway beyond. The urchin light fixture is from Mecox.

And finally this dining room from this Park Avenue apartment.  I love just about every room in this apartment.

Creative Monday - new watercolor landscapes

These are my latest watercolor landscape paintings.  The one below is still on the block of paper.  I just can't decide if it's done or not.  And the painting above painting titled "Blue Skies" is available in my etsy shop.  Both paintings are 9 X 12 and painted on beautiful Arches watercolor paper.

As soon as I declare the painting above finito, I am going to paint a landscape inspired by today's sunrise.  Whoa.  Am I right? Not a great quality photo, but you get the idea.

But first I need to finish up my outstanding orders.  Even with my late start, I am very happy with my holiday sales.  You can see below two stacks of calendar pages waiting to be assembled!  Wonder if Santa has a spare elf.  Kidding, I don't have that many orders...

I know I said I was moving on from Christmas products, but I just had to make these little tags.  I've been itching to do more foiling.  These tags are my own design and come in a set of six with gold and silver foil.  You can find them here.

Speaking of orders and new items, December 15th will be my last day to guarantee Christmas orders.

Inspiration Friday - Interiors on my mind

Today's interiors include my latest interior designer crush (Roman & Williams).  If I ever had the guts to finish my degree and put myself out there this would be the kind of design I would aspire to do.

The cutest built-in bunk beds (I would so do this at our cabin if I could).

An old interior designer crush (Michelle Smith).

And a bar cart I'm seriously close to purchasing.

Happy Friday!

On my radar - Christmas Stockings

Are you in the market for new Christmas stockings this year?  Here are a few that caught my eye.  I should pick up new ones, instead of thinking that once again I'm going to get my embroidery kit stockings finally done for my children...  There's always hope people!  :)  Maybe that project would get me in the holiday spirit.  It's worth a shot.  In the mean time, take a look at these whimsical stockings.

1.  K & K Interiors
This stocking is so unique.  I love the handmade vibe.

2. North Star Creations
A chalkboard stocking?  Might come in handy if someone is nice this year, but next year not so much.

3.  Jonathan Adler
Mr. Adler can do no wrong in my book.  Love these.

4.  Good Wishes Quilts
This etsy shop has BEAUTIFUL stockings.  If I was going to buy new stockings I'm pretty sure this where I would order.  Please check out this amazing shop.

5.  Pottery Barn
These PB babies are on sale right now for under $15.  Definitely in second place.  And free monogram or name?  Get outta here.
